How can
I help?
I help people transition smoothly from full-time work to a fulfilling retirement lifestyle by focusing on purpose, social connection, and state of mind – all the crucial non-financial aspects of retirement.
I help you create a bespoke, personalised plan for personal growth, health, and relationships and a structured approach to your “new normal”.
The challenges of retirement are real and widely experienced. This is a significant life change and it deserves to be taken seriously. I can help with that.
Approach your retirement with intent.
Make a plan for your best life after work ends.
Redefining Purpose and Identity
For many, identity is tied to their job title. Coaching helps you rediscover who you are without a career and find new ways to feel valued.
Replacing “Work Benefits”
Work provides non-financial structures like social interaction, daily routine, and intellectual stimulation.
My coaching helps you build a new routine that replaces these vital elements.
Easing the Transition Stress
The sudden loss of structure can lead to anxiety or even depression. Coaching can provide strategies to manage these emotional shifts.
Health and Longevity Literacy
With retirement now potentially lasting 30+ years, a coach helps you plan for long-term physical and wellbeing, ensuring your “golden years” are active and engaged.
Strengthening Social Networks
Retirement can be isolating once daily office interactions vanish. My coaching focuses on nurturing existing friendships and building new communities to prevent loneliness.
You don’t have to do it alone.

My Story.
When I turned 65 someone asked me about my retirement plans. Then Retirement felt like a old person thing and as I was enjoying my work, my social life was busy and things were trucking along nicely. It did not seem to apply to me, I had no plan.
I was unclear what such a change might entail and anxious about making the choice to give up my current life and to transition to a new chapter.
Like most people I had a financial plan but don’t have a health, emotional and social strategy. So, what to do?
I did my research and discovered that planning your approach to all aspects of your retirement can result in you making your transition a more happy and successful next chapter of your life.
Over my career I have spent over ten years as a management and leadership coach. It struck me that many of the challenges of retirment were similar. I asked myself, If someone was offering caching to people at this point in their lives, it could be a lot less daunting and help people achieve better outcomes for themselves?
This reason became my mission, to offer transition coaching, to work with people on the social and emotional parts of the next chapter of their lives.
